We stood up the server in October 2020.  It’s goal is to provide an open world which focuses on role play, immersion, trade, cooperative game play, and a galactic economy.  It has 244 slots and is hosted on a 64 core server with 768 GB RAM on a fiber connection in Central US.

We are still in the process of establishing the policies such as wipe schedule.  Please leave your suggestions here.

0905 EST: Server is offline for backup, maintenance, and some playfield tweaking.  Expected downtime is less than an hour.  Will update when complete.

UPDATE 0913 EST:  Backups, maintenance, and playfield tweaks complete.  Server is coming back up for testing.

UPDATE 0927 EST Server is fully operational and ready for players.

Server is going down for maintenance and updates now.  Downtime is expected to last less than an hour.

Update @ 1321 EST:  Empyrion server is starting and will be accepting player connections in a few minutes.
